CELEBRATING THE IMPRESSIVE IMPACT OF VOLUNTEERS
Champions of Change celebrates the impressive impact volunteers have on our communities. Anyone is invited to submit a nomination now through 6/30/2021. This is your opportunity to recognize a volunteer you know and admire: a local individual, duo, business, or group.
After the nomination window closes, a committee of community leaders tackle Mission Impossible: selecting one winner in each award category among countless amazing volunteers. Winners are announced at our Annual Celebration and receive a $500 donation for a Washington County nonprofit of choice. These incredibly generous donations are made possible by our award sponsors.
A special thank you goes to our presenting sponsor Delta Defense, who embraces every opportunity to champion local volunteerism.
NOMINATIONS OPEN THROUGH 6/30/21
(AND $500 DONATIONS!)
Imagine having to pick a winner from a pool of countless amazing volunteers. Sound easy? It’s not! That’s where an independent group of community leaders step in. Committee members pore through each inspiring story in every nomination. When they meet to select winners in late April, they have a great picture of the best kind of people in our community.
We believe that volunteers deserve the very best. So do our award sponsors. That’s why they insist that our winners receive a $500 donation to make to a Washington County nonprofit of choice. How amazing is that? Winners are announced at our Annual Celebration—on September 14th—at The Bend!)
